You will get big ones on 3/0 as well , that's how it should be in game. When I go for the max carp though ( 49.x kg ) I only use 5/0 to 7/0 and catch plenty on them as the small ones are being caught less then. Hook sizes are working as intended from what I've seen at all lakes so far. Key being "as intended " as this is a game. IRL though Sirkipalot is correct , x/0 hooks is too big for carp. Personally I use #4 on 12lb mainline with 15lb strops IRL for carp. But this isn't RL and all games I've seen so far with exception of one employ this x/0 hooks have to be used for big fish system.
