How do I use groundbaits, and what can I use them with?

I put on the groundbait bloody salmon when I am trying to fish for bass, but I cannot tell what the groundbait actually does. I unable tell a difference with the groundbait on and with it off.

the ground bait is burley to atract fish you throw it in the water. best place to see how it works and test is betty lake, look high in the sky as you throw it and it will land at your feet and watch how it atracts the fish. hope that helps
