anyone find a good spot where they are, time, lure/bait? got over 100 amberjack and nearly 90 mahi and runner but only at 38 rooster, its getting annoying lol

there are plenty in pinus bay of right side of dock try using lures to target them. spoons work for me cast and retrieve slow to fast . there actualy my favs to catch on lures. good luck

You can catch anything at Pinas Bay with cut baits and a hook. Roosterfish go for smaller hooks than the other fish at the beginning. Use the predator cam to see where they are if you have it.

I pretty much loathe float fishing so I try and avoid that if I can. Finally managed to get 50 rooster by just catching one and reloading the map since I figured out where it was on load. Still have no idea where they can or If they even can be found in larger quantity but at this point i'm just sticking with a 9/0 hook and catching what ever I catch.

edit: Of course now that I know we can goto open water from the bay 9/0 doesnt get the job done and it looks like im stuck float fishing lol.
