adding weights to float
Hey yall,

How do you add weights to your float?
I have bought some but I can't seem to "equip" them.
Every time I cast now it says something along the lines of, "no weight added to float."

On the right side of the inventory screen there is a 'Current set' panel. At the bottom of that, you can set float line length & add weight.

Do not forget that you also need to buy them, and you can buy up to a total of 30g. Are in the Store section in OTHERS
OK am confused here I looked at several threads and none answer my question. So I bought a new fly rod and I wanted that in slot 1 so I removed the default rod set up from slot 1 and put together my fly rid. I then went to put the default rod set up into slot 2. (In the default I had upgraded the rod, reel, line and hook as well as added a bite indicator (Bell) but never changed the float set up.

So when I disassembled the set up all that went back into my inventory.

I then reset things up here is what I currently have

It shows my float attached but does not show the float weights attached even though I have the 2 default weights from the original set up.

Why can't I equip the weights despite the float being in place? I even tried adding them before adding the float and same thing equip does not light up!

What am I doing wrong??

In the lower right corner, the green bar that says "2/2g" is indicating that there is already 2g of weight applied.

I see that but wear and how as you can see the load out above has no weights added to it and most likely being this is fly my guess is that the line itself has a 2g weight as most fly lines in real life have a certain weight as they are cast out using that weight for the most part. But I can almost never get a bite on the fly lines unless super lucky

The first number is how much weight is on the line, the second is how much you have in your inventory. I wish it would have shown my cursor in the screen shots, because you just drag the green (or red) part of the bar up or down by clicking and holding on it. I think 30g is the most you can have of the weights. It doesn't let me buy more than that.

I think it finally sunk into my head what you were asking about not being able to equip the weights. Yeah, its kinda weird with the weights. You don't get a green equip button and it doesn't show up in one of the boxes to the right. It just has that slider bar to show how much weight is on. I remember it confusing me pretty good too when I first played.
