Trolling

How the heck do you enable trolling on the Greenland boat ? I can just either drive it , or start fishing then it stops. It doesn't actually keep driving and actually troll while you are out on deck ?

You can hold in W then hit R and it will autotroll forward for you. I normally stay in the wheelhouse though and watch for a fish indicator to turn red (that is how you know you got a fish).

So you have to hold in W the whole time that you are out on deck ?

no, when you are in the wheel house you just hold down w then hit r to exit and the boat will troll forward for you. The fish indicator on the fish finder when you are trolling and you get a hooked fish the fish hooked will turn red, that is how you know to get on the rod, you have to be in the wheelhouse to see it though. If you are not in the wheelhouse then you have to watch the rods to see when they start jerking. It is much easier just to stay in the wheelhouse cause you can move the boat to circle the schools or just drive right through them, both work fine.

Are you talking about the little green dots on the sonar when driving the boat that shows the fish ? Does there come a red dot or something on that sonar ?

I have 260 hrs in this game and level 24. Am unable to transfer pole to rod holder like I used to when trolling.

The tutorial / help article doesn't tell us what buttons to push for anything except acceleration. More specifics would be good. I had to look up how to put the rod on the rod holder by looking at the controls tab in options; it should be mentioned in the tutorial.

When players are having problems figuring out how to properly work the trolling feature, and the tutorial only covers basic info and excludes vital information, then it's the tutorial that has shortcomings, not the player. Just saying, maybe revising the tutorials with more details for the more technical fishing tactics would be a good thing.
