How to catch catfish at Powell Lake?

I\ve seen a few swimming around but I haven't seen any discussion on how to catch them.

Ah, catfish :) Well, theres several threads on them, but i guess they are so old that they must be many pages back.

There's also a small catfish guide under "guides" in the top part of this steam community hub.

Long story short, you catch them like any other fish. Don't worry about the depth, once you cast above them, they'll swim up to bite. Hook size 2 and 3 work, with f ex large cutbait.

I caught a small one. They seem to be quite picky eaters.

2/5 hook, max leader depth, small cut bait or worms. They'll swim up to the bait.

i used the orange grub and i got one
