Do you have more than 1 float/line/something else? if so, sell one and buy bait.
I assume you are past the starter rod/reel/line? - Check what you can sell them for and what you can downgrade them to and see if you can get enough cash doing that to buy bait.
If you are out of options after that, then i'd say your profile is so new that you might as well start over being 1 experience richer knowing what NOT to do ;)
its a matter of having to you always end up with no money lol
Part of the game is managing economics. If you spend all of your funds then you just screw yourself. Why should the game compensate for that?
