Baikal Omul - any tips guys?

The regular whitefish i got on hook 2 with cutbait (although going by the encyclopedia description you'd guess eggs, worms and leeches would work, but no dice).

However, i moved spot to what i think is baikal omul (as they look identical to whitefish). At least theyre not interested in what i caught whitefish on so i assume its omul.

Ive been through all current float baits with hook size 1 and 2, no dice. Ive tried wobblers, spinners, spoons and softbaits of varying kind, no dice.

Now i'm trying hook size 3 with double baits to see if that is the thing.

Anyone got some confirmed methods?

Got one! The fish i looked at was indeed Baikal Omul.

Turns out that while testing all my baits i had forgotten to use the smallest hook with small cutbait (thanks Lars for the tip in game!)
