tips for Lake Powell

Does anyone have any good tips for fishing in lake powell? Had some luck so far, but it seems like I have something to learn. Are spoon or spinner the way to go?

I use lvl 4 green soft bait at the depth of 5~10 ft with pretty good results.

Tips below, dont look if you dont want spoilers

Flat spoons for bass (the green one work well)
Thin spoons for stripers (red and purple work well)
Spinners for bluegill and crappies if i remember right
Catfish is a work in progress ;)

Use your boat sonar and your hunter vision (but beware of the sound if you use hunter vision under water - it may explode your ears)

which method of retreive worked bass for striped bass because they keep just watching my bait

Straight and slow with size 2 spinner works great for Large Mouth. For catfish, you have to spot them out with hunter vision, as they are rare right now. Then use size 3 hook with large cutbait, max depth.
