How to start a strike

i see the fix under the water near the hook now i use a controller but dont know how to start a strike

I have a Xbox controller and the left trigger button reels and the right one sets the hook.

some fish has a second bite count, that means, when you see the tension go up a little, then imidiatly down, then it's a count strike.
So to do the right strike, wait for the first, then count, 1 - 2 - 3 - 4. so it's easy to know when u see count 1 u strike on count 2 or 3.
You don't need to count when the tension is continuesly.

absasolutly i figured how to get them to strike now it is reeling them in bro they either escape or the line breaks i have no idea how to reel the fish or wear him down with out breaking the line or him escaping on me

You have to watch the float and wait until fish starts to pull it strong enough
