Any guide on catching Sturgeon?

I use the smaller of the two trebble hooks and leech for bait, will need decent reel rod and line too as the run really hard.

Catfish and sturgeon seem to be two of the most difficult. I've yet to find a single catfish. As for sturgeon, using the smaller trebble hook, and I've tried with red worms and leeches at a depth of 93cm, but no luck so far.

Catfish and Baiktal sturgeon > depth over 1-2m, you have to find bottom.

Use natural baits. Catfish prefer bait balls, cutbait, Dough Ball ,Semolina Balls. Sturgeon almost the same :) But you can try to catch them for artificial baits (but not all of them).

I think the issue many of us are having is when we think of finding bottom, we think really close to the lakebed or seafloor. With the current float system, our max depth is 2.8m, in a lake with a 14m depth.

From what I've gathered, with higher level floats, you can fish deeper

If you want sturgeon ,then you need corn,best bait,cathing them non stop
But the rod bug that makes it become helicopter is anoying and its getting hard catching them.

I'm catching them easily now. Depth 250cm, smallest Treble hook, large cutbait. Just have to make sure when it gets close to set drag to 0 so you can net it without breaking line.
