No, it's not your mouse. Every reel have different drag limit. And step is now 5, but this should change to 1-2 soon.
The entire point of having and setting a drag is so you don't have to mess with it constantly.
Sadly mate unless we take these guys to the lake and show them they will not grasp it. i pull my hair out in frustration. So many idiots telling the team drag is brilliant just like the real thing. Nooby weekend anglers who know jack about fishing. This has been a fail in every single game. But I have faith in the guys to get it right because they listen
Thanks! We will create special topic about drag behaviour when you will be able to explain everything. We will do it right TOGETHER!
Tips = Set the starter rod/reel at 0 until you hook the fish. Once hooked put it on 5 and watch it closely. When the tension get to popping against the red stop reeling if it flashes red drop the tip of your rod downwards (this is assuming your poll is at a 45 degree angle) This will have the effect of reducing tension right away. Pump (RMB) your rod a few times and reel in. It isn't perfect but.. it is workable. Just takes some time to pull in a fish.
