Controller support?
Will this game have controller (steam, xbox or otherwise) support? Or the ability to remap controls?

Thanks, game looks great from the previews!

Hi,
key mapping will be able in the game menu. I will give more info about controllers support later.

Oh, great. I was confused because it didn't work for the menu navigation but it does in game. I should have looked at the help menu, which shows the mapping, Doh! Thanks.

I seem to be having problems with xbox 360 controller first off I have to use a mouse and keyboard to get in the game which is fine.

Then in-game controller works till I catch something, then it will not let me use the controller to decide on selling fish or taking exp after the catch.

Normally I only use mouse and keyboard, but I like to use a controller on fishing games any suggestions on how to fix this?

Right now game has limited controller support - you can play (walk/fish/drive boat etc) but you need to use mouse/keyboard in menu.

Full support will be added soon, together with key mapping

I have not been playing due to not having full support with controller kind of sucks for me this game is better on the TV then at my desk wish i knew when they planned on fixing it.

Fixing it and supporting it are two different things. They have said they will have full controller support in the future. They haven't claimed to have it now, and as such there is nothing to "fix".

Old thread , but I was wondering how this has progressed. Never used one on this game but are thinking of trying it. Couple of questions for the players that use controllers : 1. Is it fully supported yet ? 2. Is it plug-n-play or do you have to go through configs to get it working ? 3. What models are you finding the best. Xb 1 , X360 etc ?

2. No configuration is needed

3. Microsoft controllers and all other that are compatibile with them should work without any problems
