Turn campus legends into Ultimate Team Nightmares in the most terrifying event of the year. Top college stars are transformed into specters to haunt your opponents, with three new player item categories: Harrowing, Abyssal, and Eternal. But beware the hour when you hunt for some of these players, because you’re more likely to find Abyssal players during the day, and more likely to find Harrowing players at night. Eternal players can be obtained from Sets; you’ll need the Harrowing and Abyssal variants of the player to complete them.

Defeat haunted foes and earn Nightmare Fuel currency from Challenges, Objectives, Events, and the Field Pass, then use it to get upgrade tokens and more.

Creating a terrifying roster in Madden NFL 27 Ultimate Team too during Most Feared? Earn crossover rewards in both games and go from campus nightmare to NFL monster. 4th Quarter Crashes Making Game Unplayable

In my fourth season in Dynasty, about 70 hours in the game, never had an issue. Now I can't get through a game without crashing. Updated drivers and everything on a 5080. Looking through the forums this seems to have been a known problem for months, I would have thought it would be a high priority because it keeps people from playing the game......

Hey there College Football Fans, welcome back to the Campus Huddle, your source for all news and updates straight from the developers. It’s hard to believe we are in the middle of the College Football season already! We have a brand new Title Update releasing today, let's get into the details.

Gameplay

Added functionality to allow users to strafe while in Ballhawk.
Fixed an issue where the QB would super dive when attempting to slide near the first down line.
Fixed an issue where the Defensive Line would auto pinch or spread when audibling in or out of QB sneak.
Fixed an issue where Interceptions caught near and carried into the endzone would be ruled a Safety.

Fixed an issue where the Top Story could not be viewed when the user team was playing in the National Championship.

Dynasty Blueprint

Fixed an issue where Coach Goals that awarded Dynasty Points would not correctly grant those points during the End of Season Recap.
Fixed an issue where Coach Points awarded after receiving a contract extension could be granted in values that were not multiples of five. Coach Point awards will now always be granted in multiples of five.
Updated the warning popup when firing a staff member to correctly account for the Dynasty Points refunded from firing the coach.

General

Fixed an issue where the Post-Game Stats screen could display a Please Wait message when attempting to view post-game stats.
Updated the Defensive Coordinator at North Carolina.

Road To Glory

Draft Projection

Fixed an issue where the William V. Campbell Trophy was missing its icon.

Build a Player

Fixed an issue in the Max Potential screen where some sliders could disappear after resetting all Max Potential allocations.

Practice

Fixed an issue where the game could freeze after selecting a Goal Line play during the Air Game minigame.
Fixed an issue where selecting Special Teams plays in certain scenarios as a non-quarterback could cause the game to freeze.

Ultimate Team

From the Devs: Hey Ultimate Team players! With TU5, we continued to improve Ultimate Captains, Objectives on Items, and EVOs, with a focus on clearer upgrade information and more reliable selection, filtering, and item-management flows.

Ultimate Captains and Upgrades

Fixed an issue where the Buy Skill Points section appeared empty when viewing player Archetype upgrades.
Fixed an issue where the Max OVR shown during the New Ratings flow did not match the Max OVR displayed on the Upgrades screen.

Objectives on Items

Fixed an issue where Objectives on Items appeared locked in the Lineup until the user played a game.
Fixed issues where Objectives on Items did not display their favorited status consistently across Lineup tabs and could produce a server error when favorited from Special Teams.

EVOs

Fixed an issue where an EVO could be applied to the first eligible player in the list instead of the player selected by the user.
Fixed a server error that could occur when opening filters in the EVO menu.
Fixed an issue where changing filters on the EVO player-selection screen could display blank or duplicated player items.
Fixed an issue where the EVO Upgrade Path preview did not display the rewards available from its objectives.
Fixed an issue where quickselling an item with a non-removable EVO could leave the item visible and lead to a server error.
Fixed an issue where the back of Ultimate Team player items did not display the player’s position or jersey number.
Fixed an issue where some in-game Ultimate Team player panels displayed jersey number 0.
Fixed an issue where the Field Pass Reward Path displayed the total XP threshold instead of the remaining XP needed to reach a level.
Fixed an issue where selecting Redeem on certain Sets returned an error even when at least one eligible item could be added.

Online Head-to-Head

Fixed an issue where Online Head-to-Head used the default uniforms instead of the uniforms selected in Advanced Settings.
Fixed an issue where some player item portraits were missing from the Ultimate Team H2H pregame presentation.

I like the games itself and the dynasty and RTG systems are really fun, it's just the in-game gameplay that is atrocious. I have never played a more buggy game in my life and I have played most Bethesda games.
The ball goes right through the recievers body a couple of times a game and players clip through each other all the time, especially defenders going right through a recievers body to get a pick.
A lot of blockers also just stand still and don't do anything on a lot of plays. I would recommend this because I really enjoy playing it and I will keep playing it but it is just too frustrating to watch a defender jump right through the body of a reciever for an interception on the last drive of the game.

This game is NOWHERE near as fun as the College Football games of old. Passing is a joke. Can't tell you how many times I've thrown to a wide open receiver just to be picked off. I know sometimes a player just makes a play but it happens way too often. Pass blocking is also atrocious. If you can't micro manage every detail on every passing play than you'll just be hit before you have a chance to throw the ball on any difficulty level above Freshman. I've seen too many times where a defender has two blockers on him and they just... stop blocking and let him through. It's absurd. This engine needs a complete overhault fromt he ground up. There is something wrong with its base logic. Don't even get me started on the greed fest that is Ultimate Team. Constantly throwing that stuff in my face when I want NOTHING to do with it. I'm glad I got this piece of junk on sale. It's been nothing but frustration.

GAME WONT LAUNCH

NCAA 27 won't launch for me at all anymore. Had zero issues on my PC until today. Launch game, gets to anitcheat/starting game and then just vanishes. Steam says the games running, however it's no where to be found. ♥♥♥♥ is legit about to make me crash the ♥♥♥♥ out....

4th quarter crashes

I've been involved with many of these discussions the last two weeks. I've tried everything, and might have found a temporary fix. For reference I have 509 hours played on this game. Their is an audio glitch that usually proceeds the crash. But the crashed is caused by Denuvo Anti-Cheat trying to ping the server to verify files. If it does that at the wrong time when resources are stretched, it crashes. A temporary work around is to load into the EA APP. Their are 3 horizonal lines in the upper left, c...

I haven't played a football game in years. I wanna buy NCAA but is it actually worth the money? I'm not a huge football fan but i enjoy career mode, so some honest opinions from some of you guys that have time in the game would let me know if its worth or am I wasting my money?...
