Overwritten savings

Hi guys, I'm playing power and revolution 2020 edition and did a silly mistake, use auto save and started a new game without re-saving the previous game. Now it seams as it has been overwriting that game to auto save the new game I started and the old game is lost. Is it in any way possible to recover the first game or should I just consider It as lost?
