Also, be sure to set a head for the organization when you first create it.
Appearently this game has no decent guide and all Youtubers just screw around, some try to hide it by talking about real-life stuff and pretend te game works that way, so cute....Anyway:
The main factor in your organisation is the city where you place it. I was testing some stuff as China and if you make an organisation HQ in Beijing you get the "meeting in VAL((098597867489563947856sdf) at 1/3/2020" message. Appearently Beijing is not allowed to be a city in the game. You have to pick a place that the game allows. For China, one of those cities is Shenzheng...ish (many cities with similar names...I hope Shenzheng is only one and there is not a Shengzen and a Shenzhen and a Shenzen).
You can also notice this when opening your organisation. With Beijing as capital it doesnt show you on left page of the book, any city after the line that states main location when you have Beijing selected. And when the meeting is up, you get the "meeting in VAL(189506710378956) at 1/3/2020" instead of "meeting in Beijing at 1/3/2020". But Some other cities are allowed to be organisation HQ's.
This also affects other countries that join. As china, you will always get a join from Russia within 1 month. For my coal org, I got Kazachstan and Iran to join next to russia, for my car organisation Iran joined next to Russia. But not Japan, Indonesia, Australia, Canada etc. Even though I made sure they where all communist leaders and diplomacy allied (wait for natural disaster, make appointment, send aid 2 days before appointment, not earlier because the relation boost only lasts a week in this game. Aid is only as usefull as secret service -external - dismantle terrorist is. very short term relationship boost that reverts back within a few days). In 1 test I had kazachstan join my org after 4 months instead of immediatly. But that was it. No other country for the next 1,5 years.
Now, for the time the game didnt give the VAL13434781364 instead of city name the organisation worked as it should, that was 1 out of 5 testruns though and that was the one where kazachstan joined a few months later. The organisation that worked (mostly) was created on minute 1 of gameplay, the organisations that had 4 members instead of 3 was created later but didnt work (price revertion bug).
Also 1% starter busged and 0,4% got most people to join. I had a testgame with 4 Org's with same settings except budget and 1% you, 0,4% ish others is best. Still dont notice any difference in montly/quarterly/yearly meeting but of course you want yearly once it works, else you will be with 50% growth 200% inflation all of the time...The voting for new members also doesnt seem to matter...
Sidenote: I used publicy support and talked to ORG secretary to keep his smiley face up. It drops back to neutral after about a month though.
So in short: some hunches.
- if you do not see your city HQ for org left side after "city HQ:" or something like that, its bugged
- if you get the "meet at VAL11498671890561" its bugged
- if you do not make the organisation at minute 1 of the game...it may never work
- Relations, alliance, trade deals have no impact on countries joining or not joining (I had higher relations and trades with other countries then russia when making org, and they produced more coal/fuel/cars but still only Russia joins. Even pissed russia off with enemy troops over border, still they join).
- if you save your game and later load up your game, its bugged
- If you open new organisations and you click on your organisation to open it, but it doesnt open, its bugged and you have to save and reload. (look at above bug report)
The funniest thing I find in this game is where you go close a notification top left, but just 0,1 ms before you click another super important message replaces it and gets closed, but now you cannot read what it said because you closed it with the X. Thats why I learned to spacebar before reading messages....
