I have spent my entire afternoon trying to get it to reliably create a template for my U.S. World Conquoring campaigne. Making changes to a Mod file and then starting a live game that contains the mods has proved to be problematic - some of the mods appear in the .SAV game and some don't. I haven't found any user's manual for the Modding Tool - so I spent my afternoon teaching myself thru trial and error how to add and delete military bases.
The really suspecious thing that I noticed is that as I zoomed in and out on my capital off Washington D.C., the entire DC area seemed to disappear when I zoomed in - just like my IP problem described.
I am not good at English, so I possibly misunderstand what you meant. You've fixed it? If so, please tell me:
- What application did you use to open and fix the .SAV file?
- How did you fix it?
- In the first place, is the .SAV file really broken or is there something else?
And I agree that zooming in and out is the radical cause.
P.S.
I've just found the problem often occurs after saving data. Now, other cities in Kyusyu disappeared again.
My problem was that Washington, D.C. just disappeared from the map.
I never did fiix the .SAV game. I had to abandon the game and start a new one.
Alright, I'll give up my data too...
Thank you
