Report a translation problem
The other five they said that they could not re-produce and asked for more information.
No, they did not give a release date.
My reports are the subject of an on-going conversation between me and Eversim. I don't intend to discuss them here. I will just say that in researching my replies to them, I did discovered that several of my original assumpations were incorrect:
Hello
All the emails coming from the users corresponding to dysfunctions of the game are treated by the development team which, when doing it, stop the development of the games which can be detrimental to the company if the messages are very numerous.
We answer all messages but you have sent a lot and we need time to process them.
Here are some answers :
"In combat the game puts up the “Quit Game” dialog box about once every five minutes. This is very annoying. It seems to have something with using the "Esc"key on a mistaken targeting arrow."
==> Not found. ... What computer are you playing on, PC or MAC?
-"Once per quarter the U.S. is notified of a nuclear accident and is informed that they have been awarded 1.5 billion dollars to distribute as aid.
But there is no hint of where or when the nuclear accident occurred."
==> Not found when playing the USA. Can you capture this nuclear incident? On the Catastrophe panels, there is an icon on the bottom right that allows the map to target the location of the disaster.
-"A user interface suggestion:
Every quarter the G7 group asks the U.S. how much they wish to reduce the debit of poor nations. The problem is that the edit box’s units of dollars is missing. The user has no idea if he is voting in dollars , millions or billions."
==> Found ! This will be fixed in a next pacth or version.
-"Once per day either the Secretary of Defense or the Army Chief of Staff informs me that some foreign nation (even allies) is trespassing.
But the navigation icon only navigates to the trespasser’s home country, not to the site of the trespass."
==> Not found when playing the USA. Can you capture this message ?
-When constructing a new military base with the “Position” cursor, once the base is confirmed the game should return to the Army/Construction/Air (or whatever) dialog. It should not return to the game screen, because the user may want to add more bases to the same country.
This is the same behavior as the Energy/Construction screen.
==> Found ! This will be fixed in a next pacth or version.
-When the player directs a satellite to survail a city, the game puts up a city attack screen. If the player picks a target from the screen then the satellite will be destroyed.
==> Found ! This will be fixed in a next pacth or version.
-1. Columbia contains a land-locked navy base in the center of the country.
2. At the far southern tip of South America there is a Chilian navy base who’s ships are trapped by a channel that is too narrow for them to escape.
==> Found ! This will be fixed in a next pacth or version.
-When a construction dialog is opened, why not pre-set a default country in the list box? Pre-select the player’s home country or use the country currently displayed at the top right corner of the screen. And keep the last selection as the current selection after each construction positioning. If I am going to construct 100 oil wells or place eight air bases on the map, I should not have to struggle with the list box and re-select the same country each time. BTW – the U.S.A. is at the BOTTOM of the list!
==> Found ! This will be fixed in a next pacth or version.
-The description of the Rank 4 “Fighter Pilot” (s.b “Fighter Plane”) states that the aircraft is able to “The ability to land in any town controlled by its troops. ”. This description is wrong in two ways: 1. The game contains no “towns” – regardless of the city’s population, all small communities are incorrectly labeled as “big cities”. 2. Any city selected as a landing target for this unit is labeled “Wrong target”.
==> Found ! This will be fixed in a next pacth or version.
-When I am planning to attack a country I have to give firing orders to dozens of units. I don’t need or want my Chief of Staff to shout his “You have ordered to attack this country. Do you confirm?" at me dozens of times.
Please place a checkbox on the Chief of Staff screens that prohibit further warnings in the same context.
==> Normally, this is asked only once... If you "Leave the command of the Armed Forces to the Chief of Armies" (from Military Operations), these confirmation messages will not appear.
-Once per game day my Army Chief of Staff or the Defense Minister issue me warnings about foreign units on my territory and offer to order my units to make them leave.
==> Not found when playing the USA. Could you, please, capture this message ?
-There is no nuclear submarine on the research tree.
==> all submarines in the search tree are nuclear submarines in accordance with their description
-Once I had annexed Iraq for the U.S., my units started to attack the Suez canal in Egypt. Slowly they started to trickle off of the Mid-East battle-field and sneak off to Egypt, sparking several wars with thart country. Some traveled from as far away as Morocco.
What causes this?
==> Very difficult to know without studying your game. Perhaps you have been stationed in the territorial waters of Egypt without having the "Sea Passage Permit" (Diplomatic Alliance) with them?
Best regards
Eversim support
I do not get crashes of any sort, just very long periods of non-response.
