Assassinated by a government mole

I'm a good few years into a successful playthrough as Turkey, when all of a sudden I'm murdered by a government mole despite having good relations with every member of my cabinet, and maxed investment into counter-intelligence. My last save is only two days before the assassination, I've tried reloading and either sacking, or arresting the member of my cabinet who carries out the assassination but to no avail. Does anyone know how to avoid this?

On another note, I think it's ridiculous that a seemingly random event like this which cannot be prevented ends the game. The option should be given to carry on as another character.

with God n' spy you can go on, by the way, in the police department there's the presidencial security, try with that

I just tried maxing out security service for the head out state, but it didn't make a difference. I think two days isnt enough time for it to take effect. I don't have God n' Spy because I think it's ridiculous that they charge for a glorified editing tool, but that's a discussion for a different time.

I'm not 100% sure if this will work, but it makes sense. Whenever I play, I make sure everyone in my cabinet has the honest trait. You can determine this by spying on them with secret service, or checking GodNSpy stat sheet and having their morality below 50. I think only dishonest people can be turned into moles by foreign agents. I always go for an all honest cabinet because it puts an end to the bickering between cabinet members too. They only bicker at each other when there is dishonest people in there. I would give that a try and see if it helps. I've never been assassinated by a mole before, so either what I am doing works or I am lucky haha.

There is also a personality stat for how much one likes the Head of State. Giving that a boost would certainly disuade a potential assassin.

The problem with the Helpmepresidentwashingsky! code is that once you use it even you cannot pause the game.

Hi everyone, I am new to Power and Revolution. I played the Canadian prime minister twice.
I got assassinated by the same cabinet minister using a salad fork?? on the same date! Is it as simple making sure you do not have that same cabinet minister in your next Canadian prime minister playthrough? I am not aware of various cheats for Power and Revolution. Thanks.
