Game time stops on 1/30/2033

I've had this happen a few times, where the game will hit a certain date (time 23:59) and just stop. I've fixed it before by simming a week or a month past the problem date. But, this time I've hit a hard stop. Normal, fast forward, week and month...all of these speeds stop at 1/30/2033 at 23:59.

I've tried re-verifying my files, moving the files to another hard drive, and playing in windowed mode. This has completely hosed a save I've been working on for a while. Does anyone know a way around this?

it goes on.... there is a period where it slows down and occasionally gets stuck. Save the game more often and if it;s stuck just reload. This is not more then 1-2 yrs period. After its back to normal.
I reached 2099 without any issues.
