Any uncensored patch in the making?

It has come to my attention that there is a patch for the PS3 version to uncensor it. Is there a similar effort being done on the PC port?

It's been chilling in my Dropbox for like 3 months already. Getting the files was a pain in the ass I hope it was worth it. As for a readme that won't be needed if you know what you're doing and also cause I'm too lazy to type up an explanation.

Seconded, I would like to know if that is an uncensor patch, anyone who owns the game care to test it and report in?

Yep, It is. Doesn't change the ELF so there's no risk in trying it. I'll have to track down a JP copy of the game and give it a go I guess.

well i do have jp Mugen souls Z but my PS3 is a superslim meaning that it iirc cannot be software-jailbroken

Nothing, unfortunately it seems these games published by Ghostlight are forgotten by the publisher and the modding community, as I see there's a few probable scenarios:

1. The time will pass and we will NEVER see a restoration patch for Mugen Souls, Mugen Souls Z & Agarest 2.

2. Ghostlight goes bankrupcy or the licenses for Mugen Souls, Mugen Souls Z & Agarest 2 expire and these games source code is lost in oblivion, and we will never see them again for sale in PC.

3. If the anterior happens and the source code is not lost, there could be a small chance that a better publisher gets the rights and save them, restoring to how they should be. Let's say Idea Factory International could re-publish Mugen Souls, Mugen Souls Z, for Agarest series we can only hope it comes saved to the hands of XSEED or DEGICA.

4. If some kind of strange miracle happens when the stars align correctly so Ghostlight redeems themselves giving the community a restoration patch or a direct restoration update.

Yeah, kind of like how blood didn't add anything to Doom, or how GTA didn't need hookers, or how the Witcher series didn't need nudity. If we cut all the "unnecessary" content from games, we might as well go back to playing pong.

Thing is, censorship is an insult to the audience. Having a bunch of self important hypocrites telling everyone what content is too much kinda pisses me off and makes me not want to give them money or play their game. Seriously, screw Ghostlight, Treehouse, and all other ♥♥♥♥ "localization"

Agarest would go to Idea Factory International as well, since they were part-developed by them.

theres absiolutly no reason why ghostlight shouldnt add the gutted parts back in because it would make up for what ever costs there is to add them all back in from all the people buying the game that didnt buy it before because it was censored.

with the way that steams polocies have now changed there is nothing stopping them from doing so and ghostlight said themselves the only thing that stopped them was steams policies and those have changed to the point where they allow hentai games now.
