Should i get Mugen Souls as well?

Well, question in the title.
Tbh, do i miss any REAL important stuff from Mugen Souls?

I just bought this one first, because it popped up in the shop. It was a bit to late when i saw there was a title before Souls Z.

Is there any continuation for the story?

A good chunk of Souls is referenced in some way in Souls Z, and a good chunk of the characters you meet in Z are from Souls.

While you don't need to play Souls to understand Z, the story is something of a continuation.

If you don't play Souls, there is a simple way to know if a character is from Souls or from Z. If Chou-Chou or Ryuto knows who they are, but Syrma doesn't, they are probly from Souls.

I would say kind of, you get to know a lot of the reasons behind why a character is doing X in mugen souls Z, without playing the 1st game it's kind of like, wtf why would they do that, why is that person like that. It'll never be explained or fleshed out in Z besides a few off comments.
