This is the WORST game I have ever seen on Steam, period. I saw the trailer which truly expanded what I knew to be possible about bad Steam Greenlight games, so I bought it to check and see how bad it got. (I have since refunded this game. Don't worry.)

There are two weapons in this game - an assault rifle and a rocket launcher. The rocket launcher has no animation when fired. You pull the trigger and see an explosion happen. There is no way to tell when, how, or if the enemies are attacking you. There are things in the environment that will make you curious only to insta kill you for approaching them, without warning or explanation. The level design is unexplainably bland - open ground and corridors full of reused assets - that's it. It is unintentionally creepy due to an eerie lack of music. I won't even mention the nearly nonexistant story. What would you expect from the shovelware Greenlight garbage that floods the store these days?

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

Unless you're intention is to show yourself and your friends the absolute depths of lazy design that a game can achieve in the modern day, STAY FAR, FAR AWAY.

PS - I am aware that this game was created from start to finish by just one person. Good for him! That's awesome. Keep working on your trade. However, you have absolutely no business selling your half-baked practice games on Steam.

I only played for 22 minutes and the game could be something if the devs worked real hard on the game for @ least 6 month. Frame drops on menu, when shooting robots and some areas of map. There isn't much to the map or game it just looks like they through something togethor in a few months. I don't recommend right now, so refunding.

So, this is what Steam has become?

Allowing absolute trash onto the store. This game is one of the worst titles I have ever played on Steam. There is nothing about this that could be redeeming. I could see this being done in like 2 days with little experience.

The only way I can explain this, is that the rating variable went so far into the negative that it overflowed.

Man this game is bad, really, horribly bad. And what's worse you have to download 8051 Mb of pure crap just to see for yourself.

This super-amateurish shooter has something cool about it, maybe the old-school shooter feeling, but it is so unpolished & unfrienly that I don't recommend it to no one. Full of semi-bugs - something that the dev didn't care about or just couldn't do better, including the physics (you can push away a section of a destroyed bridge with your shoulder). I surrendered at the moment I pushed 'K' button & it turned out to have a suicide function (no instructions given on keys, no rebinding), while I've been trying to find how to change weapons.

To sell this as a game is just scam.
It's not buggy, it's a complete bug itself.

Devs, did you even playtest this thing?
THE GOOD: Gun textures look nice, theme is cool.
THE BAD: Jagged terrain, empty and boring landscapes, annoying looping music, enemies clip through some walls, player clips through some walls, inconsistent sounds (footsteps, guns, etc.), pop ins, texture flickering, gaps where textures join, the list goes on and on.
From the screenshots, it looks like it might be ok. It's really not. I don't mean to ♥♥♥♥ on a game for no reason but it seems like the devs legitimately did not even try to make this game look or play half decent.

Cons:
- the world is too empty, it's nearly dead;
- unbindable controls;
- is there a plot? well, a real one;
- 2 guns. seriously?;
- rocket launcher firing without animation;
- you may fall through the textures if you enter nearly any building;
- the textures are flickering.

Pros:
- trading cards?

This game should really be deleted from Steam. It's a big buggy mess.

Better save your money for something else.

You are dead man! Z.I.O.N. is a hot steaming mess. Touting itself as an open world stealth FPS set in a ruined city it is irredeemably buggy and unfinished, with developers that have released nearly a dozen games. Meaning as far as I can see this is a finished product which the developers and steam are both happy to sell you, which is just ridiculous.

-made in the unreal4 engine so the graphics are somewhat modernish
-a large environment to explore

-OMG WTF the sound
-the game world is badly put together, the textures suck, the assets are bad and have a mismatched graphic style
-the physics are hella weird sometimes
-gnarly motion blur
-everything is glitchy and terrible
-should be removed from steam

This "game" is terrible and the fact that it is even sold on steam is a stain on valve's reputation. Avoid this garbage fire at all costs
