I don't like to have flashlight / interact controls on ABXY buttons...they make you leave the trackpad all the time and it's annoying (also can't keep looking around and switching flashlight on/off at the same time, you always have to stop). And I removed the middle mouse button....what would that be for? Maybe later in the game?
As far as I can recall, the only part that pissed me off... was that fight... mainly because of the random key press mechanic. Here's a thought for the developers.... seeing as this part is mainly just a series of QTE's, to make it functional for the player, why not just make it up/down/left/right or W/S/A/D on the keyboard? At least I'd be able to map that. Anyway, I'm going to play it again just to get to that part and try it again with the controller. Maybe I'm seeing it all wrong.
This is a disrespect to the people that buy a game in good faith with no warning about it.
Don't have a Steam Controller here, don't want and don't need it, man.
What I need from the Devs (and a lot of PC gamers) is a way to customize the key bindings, a more than basic feature in every PC game since the MS-DOS era.
AFAIK, ALL the 3D game engines have a way to change the keyboard preferences.
Please pardon me for my impacience, but I'm tired of being fooled by developers that release games and ask for my money without any warning about this issue, because this is an main question that affects critically the decision of buying a game or not. This is simply not acceptable.
Also... I don't know of any PC games where I was allowed to customize the key bindings in the same way I can in some software...like Maya, or Blender. Maybe I'm wrong? It's possible I don't know because I've never ever needed to do this but I'm curious now so I'll have to check.
Lastly... I think you're being a little harsh... you realize this is a small game from a small indie developer, and it costs... what... 10 dollars? So you're saying because of this minor feature request, you'll put your foot down and refuse to buy it? I guess all I can say is, don't the door hit you on your way out. Ciao! ;)
