But yeah, what we can see in there right now is just a sneak peek of what adventure mode is going to be about. Our character will have classes to pick from which grant us different stats and abilities (UI for that is visible in the stats tab), we'll collect some sort of gear to wear for extra boosts (UI for that is visible in the inventory tab), and there will be some sort of fights using those stats (adventure tab, nothing visible there yet).
I think he had been hoping to have it ready by the time the Easter event ended (that's why the new tabs were added when that started and the new event format he threw together got thrown onto the adventure tab as a placeholder), but it's taking longer than expected. There's also a big game anniversary that he might do something for. I think that's coming up within the next couple months.
I was surprised to see any sign of this adventure mode pop up when it did. He's still got a bunch of buildings for the pet village that he planned but hasn't implemented yet. And there was that "light and dark dungeons" idea that he wanted to do and hasn't finished yet. (He made the infinity towers as a placeholder while he was originally working on that, and later added depth 4 dungeons at the level of difficulty that light/dark would've been, so now light/dark will be scaled even tougher than that if/when they ever come out.)
