With longer rebirths (Ultimate Overflow recently), I regretted not spending more on Black Hole and Black Hole Upgrade early on, because the passive GP would be very welcome. Well, can't have everything.
The best of the rest will depend of your playstyle and future plans. I loved having many points on V2 Auto kill while doing UCCs . As I was doing multiple small challenges, killing the V2s faster was good either to get shorter rebirths (stat multi) or to get some extra GP almost for free when it was an unrelated challenge where Might would be unlocked.
Powersurge is only useful if you have loads of clones, Gem gain is good early on to hoard gems and futurely improve your dungeon teams by a lot, but shows no immediate advantage, Creation Count helps to have a lower CC with a large amount of clones.
HP regen is not something I care, and now that is possible to have might unleash full time, seems a little useless. Creation Stat and Stats Multi will help in later RTIs and things like that, but not my focus.
Finally, Gem Cap is useless without a large, very large Gem Gain, and best way to get is as a bonus from late UCCs anyway. My opinions.
V2 Autokill Might is great and gets better with each point, but its benefit really only applies in shorter and shorter rebirths. Being able to autokill ITRTG with sub 1000 Attack can be pretty potent in some challenges. SpaceDim and Might Speed have very long term benefits, but immediately you won't see a lot of value from them, but still good to put some points into.
a couple points in creation speed is quite nice, when they are cheap relative to crystal power, otherwise i'd stick to crystal power until you begin doing overflow challenges (lategame)
and i guess a couple points into bh/bhu when you begin regularly capping them in typical rebirths.
what is "the best" differs from person to person, that's why the wiki page doesn't have any recommendations
black hole + black hole upgrade - gives you a lot of extra gp that stacks pretty quickly
crystal power - extra build speed and creation speed, which can go high
hp regen - multiplies with other mechanics, so the boost is actually significant
space dim - boosts pretty much everything
v2 auto kill - super convenient and some extra gp
(and so on)
for me personally, I like v2 auto kill best, since I don't have to fight these annoying v2 manually
best to spend points on whatever you feel like will help you the most, wherever you are currently in the game
The OP is clear that I'm asking for myself, not in general
It does lol.
Again, I appreciate the advice. Take care.
BH = 50
BHU = 75 (with 5 UBHCs done this means up to 91 GP per rebirth)
Gem Cap = 15 (haven't touched this at all)
Gem Gain = 115% (pretty sure this was all just a "just because it's cheap" type of purchase, probably a waste)
V2 Auto Kill = 215 (love auto kill, always hated running the v2 fights manually, haven't done any of them manually once since I unlocked auto kill)
HP Regen = 110%
CP = 150% (25 of this is from the Unicorn, so 25 actually purchased)
SD = 10%
Creation stat = 110%
Powersurge = 125% (320M clones right now gives me some room to go crazy here, default powersurge cap before might unlocks and starts reducing it is about 115M clones, a couple hours of might leveling can still get that below 10M though)
and the last three are locked (I've only done 5 UCCs)
This is with the overflow challenge run 25 times (I've only done them when I make a deliberate decision to run a few of them, I don't just casually run them every time I'm not doing anything else like most people seem to be doing) and with a total of 21683 ChP worth of challenges completed (9600 overflow points earned from ChP milestones). 12705 overflow points spent and 538.3 points currently sitting unspent. (There are things for which a level is affordable right now but I prefer to buy 5 levels at a time and that's obviously not going to work with that amount.)
I've spent a few points on other stuff but I'm gonna wait and see what happens.
Lots of people keep talking about the BH/BHU purchase and, while I don't think I'll be building that many BH/BHUs any time soon, I think it's best to hold back in case I've underestimating just how close I am to it. FWIW, I'm halfway done with BHC and 2 more away from MMC. I think I'll have to do an NDC and NDMC to start ramping up BH/BHU production.
I hate them so much I created an AutoHotKey script to automate the 4+9 Enhanced Loop and I wish I'd thought of that sooner.
BTW how do you unlock AutoKill?
Anyway, don't know if you care about the Steam achievements at all but make sure you get One Punch God (if you haven't already gotten it) before you unlock autokill. There might have been a special loop tailored towards getting it, I forget. But the main way that you ensure that you can get it is by massively overdoing it on the attack Might, and since autokill steps in based on that same Might (and having 10+ of the relevant normal creation available, I think) it'll limit how strong you can be if you attempt to get that achievement when you already have autokill available. So it's just less hassle to get it out of the way ahead of time.
Something that's a nice little sidenote about autokill: Taking ITRTGv2 down the OPG way is worth a bit of extra GP, and autokill is always worth the same GP as getting the OPG kill.
Just having created 10 is enough; you don't need to still hold them.
