Easter Event?
As I've played the game so erratically I think I've missed out on several events, so I just wanted to check:

a) Do the events occur each year? So can I unlock ghost, pumpkin or question later in the year without spending a pet token?
b) Is there any Easter event? From skimming the change log it looks like players got 100 chocolates in 2017, but I can't see anything listed for 2018.

Events are manually made and added by the dev, so there is no certitude but so far all events that rewarded pets were re-conducted (with even more things to get) so as long as the game continues to get updates you can hope that those events will come back.

EDIT:
Just a few hours after the previous post, an update is here with an easter event that should allow you to get quite a lot of chocolate (and/or pet stones) regardless of your progress thanks to how the campaign doesn't care about growth, only pet bonuses and campaign length.

Looks awesome at pet stone grinding. I got 4500 pet stones worth of easter eggs in a 12 hour camp. Almost what I can make in 2 12 hour camps on item campaign. Just no extras.

Edit: I just remembered that 4500 in 12 hours was with just 3 pets. I swapped all my non item specific pets over to food for the duration of the event.

I got 9 eggs, worth 2700 pet stones, in 3 hours.

I'm not sure how much time in the item campaign it takes me to collect that same number of pet stones... I'll guesstimate maybe 9-12 hours worth? I could be wrong but I don't think my item camps are making enough stones to match that number in 6 hours.

Hmm, 2700 stones / 3 hrs = average of 900 stones per hour. That can give... Oh, hey! I'm sure I won't have great timing about restarting the campaign as soon as possible when it's ready to complete (I'm sure I'll miss several hours here and there), but theoretically if I could keep it up without interruption the whole time the event could be worth (counting the eggs I already got from this first 3 hour run) a pet token plus about 10k or so extra stones by the end of it. So, yeah, that should be capable of giving a lot of players a very good push towards a token or some other big pet stone purchase (if they choose the stones instead of chocolate).

Its a tasty amount of pet stones available, I'm very grateful!

As I haven't evolved my Cupid yet, its a choice between evolving it or getting 90k pet stones and waiting until...Halloween? to evolve it. Unless I get a pumpkin before that.

Chocolates come from draws as well.

You can also get chocolate from CBCs as well.

does anyone know if food campaigns have tiers? if yes, are the tiers the same to this event? if yes, what are the tiers?
Fel 17 apr, 2019 @ 16:32
Food campaign is the only one that doesn't have tiers.
The only things that affects the results are the campaign length and each pet's own bonus/malus (and it only applies to that pet like usual outside of the level campaign).

So basically send as many pets as possible for as long as possible, if you can cram pets that have bonuses on food campaigns and that's about it.

Thanks for the answer!

also, turns out it clearly says the stats of the pets don't matter when you hover the mouse over the Food Campaign name (I had completely forgotten about this)

Am I blind or just dumb. I've done a few short Easter Garden campaigns and gotten some eggs...but...where are they in the interface?
Fel 19 apr, 2019 @ 4:23
Like with nearly all events that drop special items, you can find them at the top of the GP menu, next to the amount of GP you will see the amount of [insert event item] (eggs this time) and a "trade" button that will take you to where you can exchange them for whatever the event has (chocolates or pet stones this time).

Ah, found it. Thanks so much!

Thank you! I came here looking for exactly this information.
