This means that unlocking the generator will be a bit harder than usual since you will have barely any divinity from monster fights but other than that it's not a very hard pet to evolve.
To make sure that you don't defeat the bunny by mistake, it is easier to not fight any monster at all, which means that you could also try to unlock the goat (you can't kill any monster or ultimate being in a rebirth plus a few more things in order to unlock it) while you are at it.
Although as you said once you are high enough in P. Baal, you just need to put some clones in the training tab for a few minutes then you can probably just hit the finger flick and should get past all of the Gods and Baal.
