The goal is to increase the multiplier you get from monuments so ideally you would want to mass-build one of the stronger monuments and its upgrade.
Initially all monuments work but as you clear more the early monuments no longer count, until only black holes count for the last ones (every 5 clears one more monument from the weakest no longer counts).

This is just something put together by one player and other players might have slightly different opinions about some of the details, of course. But it should work as a decent map of where things fit around each other. (In a very general sense, at least. Obviously this guide doesn't give any benchmarks for any clones or other stats that you ought to have when you reach each column or when you can first start doing any particular challenge that is marked as starting in that column... Honestly, these details might vary quite a bit for different play styles, anyway.)
Unfortunately... The first half of "early game" according to that guide isn't exactly the most diverse in terms of the types of content in that column. DRC is a very basic challenge from which much of the "reset multi" tab in challenges is derived. The first several GSCs are barely any different from DRCs. (GSCs 1-8 only restrict you from being able to build the Black Hole monument, which is very likely not a thing you're ever doing within a DRC anyway. It's only after starting with GSC 9 that the restrictions start blocking potentially meaningful things.) PBC is just a DRC that extends into the P.Baals. And MMC is the most unique one in that column, with the emphasis on building things instead of beating Baal (or a P.Baal) again. (Plus the non-reset style way that MMC starts instead of having a DRC-style start.)
In many of the challenges that focus on creations or monuments in some way (challenges like MMC or UUC or BHC), the important part is building a strong enough divgen to produce enough divinity (within whatever you feel is a reasonable amount of time) to buy the resources to make the things you need. Divgen upgrades take some time to build, and that's sped up by how many clones you have building them as well as how much BS you have.
A couple quick notes about divgen... The number of clones assigned as workers can have a bonus effect on the output of the divgen, although by default the number of clones needed to max out that bonus is pretty big and probably isn't practical for you yet. (Plus it scales up with the number of levels in the divgen's speed upgrade.) There's a Might called "Clones on Divinity+" which scales down the number of divgen workers necessary for the max bonus. (Useful if you want that worker bonus maxed without tying up too many of your clones there.)
I don't know what divgen upgrade numbers to advise having for any specific creation or monument goals (although logically MMC (excluding the last 5) could be a less intense task than UUC (no universes vs 1 universe (although there's scaling within the MMCs too, the earlier MMCs will be easier than the later MMCs)) and UUC is a less intense task than AAC (1 universe vs 3 universes) and AAC is a less intense task than BHC (3 universes vs quite a bit more than that)), but...
If I recall correctly, the way that clones affect build times is that if X clones take Y minutes to build the next level then 2X clones will take Y/2 minutes to build the next level. So you can see how long things are taking you with the number of clones you're putting on them and figure out from there how many more clones you would need to add to the task to get things done a certain amount faster. (Side note: That tip applies to Might as well, but BS does not affect Might.)
There's also an old guideline... It's a bit less important when CP (and the bonus to CP from GSC) comes into play but (looks it up) the guideline is to have roughly 150-200% BS for every 20k clones. (That tip and more at https://itrtg.fandom.com/wiki/God_Power in the "what to buy" section.) Someone did the math and came up with these numbers as an optimization of most efficient GP spending to get the best results out of monuments. But CP counts as a bonus to CS and BS so that can cut down on how much of them you really "need" to buy.
EDIT: UPC is marked in the guide as being in the later half of the "early game" but there is a good benchmark to make note of for that one. When you have at least 10 pets unlocked, you can start UPCs. 10 pets is the maximum that can go into the same campaign together, and progress in the UPC is all about spamming 1 hour item campaign runs. (It works in a way that's much more efficient if you keep the campaigns short.)
