Idling to Rule the Gods

Idling to Rule the Gods

Which Class should pets involve into ... if you consider their special ability! (Overview!)
Hi everybody. Like most of you allready noticed many Pets have Special abilitys which only work with one single Class. ... for example the "CAT" only gets her Special ability if you evolve her into an assassin. I start a list which the prefered Class for all Pets i have. Whould be nice if this list can be expanded by you.

Mice - No class condition for the Bonus (But after envolveing good in food campains so best at Adventurer in my oppinion)
Angel - Adventurer
Egg (♥♥♥♥ ;-) ) - Assassin
Sqirrel - Rogue
Bunny - Mage
Cat - Assassin
Dog - Defender
Fairy - Supporter
Dragon - Mage
Serpent (Snake) - Alchemist
----
Mule - Adventure
Camel - Adventure
Pumpkin - No class condition for the Bonus (But is ALLWAYS on food Campains for chocolate so definitely Adventure)
Ghost - Rogue
Panda - Supporter

Which means in my place i have no Pet which has to be Blacksmith (...but i could turn my mouse or Pumpkin into one ... ... but i dont want to because they will surely become Adventurers ;-) )

Whould be nice if you could expand this overview.

Another thing that comes to mind is that hermit crab and question have the lowest requirements for blacksmith and alchemist, but hermit crab is token only and question will be token only after the event.
So, if you don’t have access to them evolving one of your other pets to blacksmith or alchemist might be a good idea.

To expand on this, in my view Pumpkin makes for a very good side blacksmith / alchemist class if you are in need of one (if you are not able to get the other pets that reflect the class).

The pumpkins special ability will increase regardless of what class you choose for it. If you don't have the chocolate necessary for evolutions (766 total at this point), then I suggest getting as much as possible during events (though get your event pet first obviously). After that using chocolate for feedings is hard to keep up with, and the other campaigns have more advantageous outcomes (this is if you have fridge and can farm P.Baal's efficiently for mighty food)

for blacksmith best start is crab - for alchemy - Question / answear ( event pet )
Fel Jan 10, 2019 @ 11:59am
Shark - Assassin
Goat - Rogue
Ape - Assassin
Turtle - Defender
Clone - Adventurer
Stone - No class condition (his evolution is just "no more malus on campaigns" unless I misinterpreted it and it's +100% for each campaign in which case adventurer)
Rudolph - Rogue
Doughnut - No class condition (probably adventurer given that his evolution is about the food campaign giving more mighty food)
Eagle - Adventurer
Hedghog - Adventurer
Robot - Blacksmith
FSM - Adventurer (you would want to keep him in god power campaigns anyway so it's nice his class is that)
Gold dragon - Alchemist

There are still a few missing but it should help with the list.

Cupid would also make a god early blacksmith as he could help clear both events in the mountain dungeon.
Floating shrine event requires 2 wind pets and unattended weapons require a blacksmith.

That's a good idea as well. I didn't think about event based evolutions.

This info had been in that spreadsheet that Ryu shared in the discord.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11TN7ZOCkKl6-rhhLPYubTvukwTQRCXfdSwCMnbDaRUg/edit?usp=sharing

Supporters: Fairy, Panda, Cloud
Defenders: Dog, Turtle, Whale
Assassins: Egg, Cat, Penguin, Shark, Ape
Mages: Rabbit, Dragon, Slime, Wizard
Rogues: Squirrel, Goat, Rudolph, Ghost
Blacksmiths: Crab, Octopus, Pegasus, Robot
Alchemists: Question, Snake, Phoenix, Gold Dragon
Adventurers: Cupid, Mole, Camel, Eagle, Clone, Hedgehog, Hydra, UFO, FSM, Box
No Specialty: Pumpkin, Donut, Mouse, Stone
All Specialties: Book

The required materials to evolve them are really going to limit what we can use early on, though. Eight (maybe nine, I don't know yet what Question needs) pets use "tier 1" materials while all the rest use "tier 2" materials. So Newbie Dungeon helps you evolve Cupid, Egg, Mouse, Mole, Rabbit, Squirrel, Camel, and Crab. (Maybe Question, too.) And all the rest require that you farm the scrapyard, volcano, mountain, forest, and temple for "tier 2" materials.

A common suggestion I've seen is to make Mouse and Mole your first Supporter and Defender, since those will be difficult roles to fill otherwise. Fairy and Dog are the cheapest options out of the ones that specialize in those roles and they require 125 bound feathers (Fairy) and 100 iron bars (Dog). For the Mouse and Mole it's just 30 wood (5 for Mouse, 25 for Mole).
