On the main question, my answer would be:
Why recover, go for a reset-type challenge.
I don't know your stats but since you said you got your CC to 3 it is likely that you didn't really go heavily on challenges just yet, reset multi or reset GP challenges are just right when you bled your multipliers in exchange for GP in quick rebirths.
So maybe a DRC if you didn't do them yet, if you never did any UBC/UAC it might also be the time to do one to unlock crystals.
What I am saying is that multiplier is not exactly important in this game, most of your progress will be from beating challenges because they give very important bonuses that you can't get any other way, and a whole lot of the challenges will reset your multiplier.
Fel is right imo that you should focus on challenges if you want good progress
4CC
260 CS
1200 BS
max PBAAL 4
4pets unlocked
did 1 DPC
... and by recover i mean i way to get out of speedrunning to get more progress ... since i dont have lot of time now for micromanaging the stuffs that u have to do while speedrunning ...
its better to profis of the afk time to progress better than wasting on NONPRODUCTIVE Gameplay ... by neither putting effort to speedrunning properly nor progressing ...
think something like that is what your looking for
Ideally you would want to make black holes (for more passive GP gain) but that's unrealistic without BHCs and higher CC count.
*-UBC will probably take a week, UAC will probably take nearer 2 months.
I don't speedrun either. 1 hour per rebirth maximum (and often much shorter than that if you really get into it) and rarely doing anything else? Just the idea of playing like that annoys me. And with rebirths that fast you're intentionally shortchanging yourself from being able to feed pets or being able to build up your "total might" stat or being able to (after unlocking them) make crystals so you can build up CP when you rebirth. And fast runs don't always mesh well with challenges. Speedruns focus exclusively on progress in terms of GP-purchased stats while ignoring all other ways of making progress in the game.
The "dank strat" is really opposite to that. It's similar to another strategy that has been in the community even longer called "suweshing" (where you stop rebirthing and let the growth of planet multi from constant UB kills be the main thing keeping you pushing to beat stronger P.Baals) except that dank strat is specifically written for newer players and Dank blatantly states the obvious about wanting to work on all forms of passive GP generation for the long wait. (You would do that while suweshing as well. You just don't have directions specifically saying it because it's obvious.) Although I think that Dank massively understates the length of the setup time and the resource cost necessary to get everything set up for a player that new to the game.
Still, you get plenty of time while in dank/suwesh strategies for pet feedings, and... Well, crystal levels will plateau so the amount of CP waiting to be earned when you eventually do tire of the long run and rebirth will stop growing. And you'll be fighting against diminishing returns to earn more levels in Might. And you're ignoring the option of doing challenges during that time.
Personally, I had zero interest in looking at challenges when I was still pretty "early" in the game and went for almost a year (edit: maybe closer to 2/3 of a year) just climbing P.Baals for pet unlocks, with the goal being P.Baal 25 (last one that had a pet unlock available at the time) before I'd even think of considering any challenges. I had beaten P.Baal 24 before the crystal factory was added to the game and I actually did a UBC to unlock it and see what it was. I didn't have the fridge purchased yet back then and I didn't want to let pet food go to waste so my rebirths had been getting longer and longer as I got further into that climb. (It got to be maybe something like two weeks per rebirth towards the end.)
Compared to other players who started around the same time as me but played more actively (not speedrunning, just a normal amount of active play) I was way ahead on number of pets unlocked and on total pet growth but I had been struggling to scrape together GP (crystal factory / god crystal wasn't even in the game yet, black hole monument either wasn't in the game yet or it was just too expensive for me to even attempt to make one) while it hadn't been much of an issue for others and i had no bonuses from any challenges while others had been building up all sorts of challenge bonuses.
Let's see, looking back at some old stats I shared in the "Show Me Your Stats" topic on these boards... My first challenge had been done somewhere between when I had 350k and 600k max clones. I had 245 CS, somewhere between 1505 and 2450 BS, and somewhere between 2 and 11 CC. I was at somewhere between 51 to 159 total rebirths (probably closer to 60, with the rest of those rebirths all coming after the challenge). I had somewhere between 8 to 10 pets unlocked and they had a total of between 10698 and 20582 growth. I was also at somewhere between 15k and 40k total might.
Those two sets of stats were logged about 5 months apart and the challenge was done about 1 month before the second set of stats were logged. In the month after the first UBC I also did a 2nd UBC and 4 DRCs. I also got my first 172 CP during that month. (Before GSCs start boosting the effectiveness of CP, each 1 point of CP grants an extra 0.5 CS and BS.)
Jump forward another 2 months after that and I was up to 1M clones, 665 CS, 6650 BS, 3457 CP, 45 CC, highest god defeated P.Baal 25 (putting to shame all the time it took me to reach 24 the first time around), 272 rebirths, 11 pets, 40163 pet growth, and 95k total might. I also did another 5 more DRCs (making a total of 9 completed) and my first UPC.
Two more months forward and I was at 1.5M clones, 805 CS, 8050 BS, 4989 CP, 50 CC, highest god defeated P.Baal 30, 318 rebirths, 13 pets, 63549 pet growth, and 128k total might. I also did 2 UUC, 1 AAC, 2 more UPCs (making a total of 3), 1 more DRC (making a total of 10), and 2 GSCs.
I started sharing stats in that topic monthly after that, but there's still all sorts of progress being made in some area or another with each new post.
It isn't always about pushing to a new highest P.Baal. But when I do decide to push for a new personal record there it tends to be easier to reach my previous record again than it had been when I set the previous record. The GP-purchased stats and CP and might and pets and challenge rewards all contribute in some way.
You just have to find a pace somewhere in the middle that works for you. (And your approach can change over time as you get more or less free time available and as you come up with different short term goals to aim for.)
EDIT: By the way, this part bears repeating:
You're going to lose your rebirth multis when you start those types of challenges anyway, so you might as well "speedfall" to benefit from them before you lose them. It's kind of like speedrunning except that you stop before it gets too annoying and you're not interested in finding out where it stabilizes. You just go through some quick rebirths to snag easy GP from god kills.
Thank you very much for your response, Much appreciated <3
