This is how the medals locker look like for me

1983: 9 medals
1986: 5 medals
1994: 2 medals
1996: 4 medals

But I just can't figure this sh!t out. This is just bad game-design.
I'm gonna need someone to just spit out the answer right out to me, because I dont have the patience for this and I actually hate to use my brain XD

Nevermind, I figured it out. It was very confusing, I tried it backwards and everything and it was just really confusing to me. In fact, it was so boring and confusing that I can't actually remember how I solved it

Lot of times us veteran gamers tend to overthink and overcomplicate the simplest puzzles for hours, missing the obvious solution.
