Can't return to Main Building 2? (minor spoilers?)

I'm in the New Building and I want to go back to Main Building 2 and do the puzzle where you rearrange the 5 hanging pictures of men (since I now know the order). When I try to exit the New Building it just brings me to the looping hallway with the girl singing again which can only be solved by going backwards which only brings me right back to the New Building entrance.

Does anyone know how to get back to Main Building 2 from the New Building or am I stuck?

(BTW I'm actually playing on PS4, does anyone here know if the patches for PC will be coming to PS4 as well?)

Solving the puzzle with the clocks will open you a wardrobe with an intem called Spirit Bell. That will help you to pass over the Fox Spirit and return to the Main Building 2,1.

About the patches of PC, they may include a few things on PS4 too but some of them may have not point to be there: the patch where it updates to scroll down the documents, this isn't a problem on PS4 for example

I was wondering what the Spirit Bell was! It wasn't in the original game IIRC so I was a bit confused with all of this.

Yeah, I heard the PC game was super buggy, can't imagine how frustrating that is. It'd be nice if they updated both the Janitors' AI for PS4 as well, though. The Main Building's Janitor is super fast for a guy with a supposed limp lol.

PC version WAS buggy on the first day but Sonnori updated the game fast.
Dealing with Janitor is pretty easy is if you understand his mechanics. I can escape from the Janitor by going into dance studio, close the door on his face and exit on the other door. He just goes to search me on the dance studio meanwhile i'm already at the third floor.
If you want to escape from the Janitor on the New Building get him to the History Room and hide there and sneak out back to the first floor. This is the best solution

My Japanese copy got an update patch yesterday. It's mostly adjusting balance with easy mode and the janitor (if I read the kanji right). It also updated something in the new character mode. I'm wondering if the NA and EU copies will get the patch too.
