King's of Kung Fu
this looks nearly identical to that game, (which was abandoned with numerous issues in Early Access) Also I'm pretty sure the same person made the game, just curious if this game plays the same as King's of Kung Fu? That game had potential but had quite a few issues prior to being abandoned..

Hey the potential was limited due to the engine and the assets were outdated so instead I decided to start from scratch and create a better game with a better foundation. Everything is new including the gameplay. I learned alot from Kings of Kung fu and I applied that knowledge to this game.

Same dev account. Jae Lee is Jae lee productions I just shortened it. I'll change the name back if it means that much. Sorry you felt it was a rip off I tried really hard on it being my first game. I wanted to create a better game this time hopefully you will see that :)

I gotcha, I though the game had alot of potential but thought it was abandoned, I guess it was the engine like you said, will pick this game up at some point in time.

yeah dont worry. i will support this one too. i just wondered why the games are only linked through publisher, noth through dev. bec i remembered your name and the looks were so similar. and clicked but only Shaolin vs Wutang appeared. plus, KoK KoK is still available out there? maybe you should link KoK to ShaolinvsWutang. 3 bucks more, who cares. but everybody would get a seemingly better game instead...? just my thoughts...coming from Kok disappontment as well as hope in this one ;)

btw. dunno if you were involved in this one but i played Kung Fu Strike 12 times longer then KoK...

I purchased KOK and I knew the engine was limited I think I suggested the unreal engine anyway.. maybe you can add those characters to this game and add weapons?

Yeah i'll probably use Unreal for my next game Unity has way to many issues and limitations. But for now I have big plans for this game for years to come. There is a good chance some of the styles featured in KOK will be featured in this game at a later date . Probably with a international fighter pack :)

I also own Kings of Kung Fu and was surprised after accidentally stumbling across Shaolin vs Wutang earlier today, will development still continue on the former (e.g. bug fixes)?

A genuine issue exists when using different names within Steam which often leads to confusion and/or negative press, would you mind changing your account details to ensure all your products are listed under one name?

Many thanks in advance and hope all goes well with the new game.

Certain issues like issues with the Mac can't be fixed unfortunately due to limitations in the Unity 4 engine. To avoid those issues for Shaolin vs Wutang im using Unity 5 instead which brings it's own set of issues but there are no plans for a Mac version this time. I'll definitely fix the name issue thanks :)

I like KoKF. It's fun to pick up and play every once in a while and I reccomend it to anyone. I do think $7.99 would be a better price though.

Thanks I agree with you but my publisher owns Kings of Kung fu I do think a price drop of that game wouldnt hurt.
