Steam features?
When will you start to add systematically Steam features on your games (cloud, trading cards, achievements), many people here won't buy without those.
Personally I mostly avoid games with only Single Player as a features because it usually means a lack of work on the game (or at least on the Steam publication, which leads to "no support on Steam").

Most companies still do not realise that the sheer amount of games that are released means you need things that will make your game stand out from the crowd. HOGs are very similar to each other, so even more so for them. Whenever Artifex Mundi releases a HOG, I buy it immediately, because they have achievements, cards, and launch with a significant discount, putting their games around 4-5 euros on launch.

i buy a game for the game itself.... not for any achievements.... but then again i was ' born yesterday' :steammocking:

In the 70s there was no internet, maybe there was but it was NOT common in Europe, so i grew up with games that were ... just games , besides i dont feel the need to show all my achievements or how much i scored or how good i am at certain games, gaming is a private thing, unless it is a mmorpg, or other multiplayer, hogs and most casuals are for 1 player so...
:steamhappy:

Anyway i have 600 plus casualsgames (retail cd/dvd) and a lot digital only on some online accounts, only because the retails arent released yet, besides i want games to play without clients, thats why i buy artifex games.

Gaming for > 40 years now ( vic20 c64 atari 2600 etc etc etc all the way to PC....)
have seen all games from the start till now...

Well, good on you, sp3lfanaaT. This game already has achievements yet though, implemented as a game's feature, so I don't really see why it should be so hard to make them "real" Steam achievements. Some people just like them, is all.

I guess it is for many, but my motivation to see how i did things only applied when i was at school
some classes were hard and getting a 6 or a 7 (thats a C i guess ) was very satisfying for me, so it all depends on the person.
Seems the german use 1 - 6 ( european country) but the Dutch (also European) use 1-10
so it all depends on what is used.

googled

Germany uses a 6-point grading scale (GPA) to evaluate the performance of school children. Grades vary from 1 (excellent, sehr gut) to 6 (insufficient, ungenügend). In the final classes of German Gymnasium schools that prepare for university studies, a point system is used with 15 points being the best grade and 0 points the worst. The percentage causes the grade can vary from teacher to teacher.

dutch use simply 1 - 10 ( easy and simple)

In the Netherlands, most institutions grade exams, papers and thesis on a scale from 1 (very poor) to 10 (outstanding). The scale is generally further subdivided with intervals of one decimal place, although the use of halves (e.g., 7.5) and quarters (e.g., 7+ or 7−, rounded to 0.8 or 0.3) is also common. Thus, a 6.75 could be written as 7− and count as a 6.8, whereas a 7+ would be a 7.25 and count as a 7.3. Marks given in decimals are usually rounded to the nearest full mark for the final mark. At all levels of education, some subjects may be graded with the marks "insufficient" (O, or onvoldoende), "pass" (V, or voldoende) and in some cases "good" (G, or goed). On report cards, these are mostly shown as letters rather than numbers.
