Can't pick up the spider eggs in part 2

After the big troll that hits you on the head, there is a section with spiders where you need to pick up the eggs. I push space bar, but I cannot pick them up. This is terrible because I cannot progress in the game. I did re-start the level twice. Can the developers help? Or any of you fans?
