OK, how come? Are the achievements bugged?

Finished multiple times on easy with less than 10 credits used, no achievement.

Right now I finished the game on normal with 7 credits, no achievement.

Just how bugged is that one? or is it literally to beat the game on less than 10 LIVES not continues?

Was about to ask as i used 6 continues on easy, which i assumed were the credits.
Looks bugged unless you need to 2 player and die less than 10 times.

I still don't have an answer, haven't gotten it either, there is a guide with a method I haven't tried if you wanna give it a look.

Hey i just sent a playthrough and changed the setting to 10 credits from i think 'freegame' and it gave me the achievement

So that works if anyone is still trying to get it, must be some kind of requirement for it to be rewarded.
