Yes, it's bad. Hope a fix comes. The 1st game is good though.

i doubt it.. so many other DotEmu games with the same issue, Probably best not to touch anything DotEmu

It's same as the original.
Not saying they couldn't try to do something about that, but at least it's the same as the MVS version.

What's sad is that it's 2022 and there still is no version of this game that isn't seriously marred by terrible slowdown. I've tried emulators, Steam version, even the Hamster PS4 version which you would expect more from...they all have it in varying amounts, and they are all pretty bad. Just seems that someone could have cleaned it up like they did in the Metal Slug games. :steamfacepalm:

Would be nice if there was a way to "disable" the feature, but at least the emulation is accurate I guess.

TERRIBLE slow down to this day. I loved these kind of games back in the day. Not sure why todays hardware can't overcome this. First complete playthrough and probably won't play again.
