What Are the Differences Between Speed & Power Mode?
As someone who has a limited knowledge of fighting games of the past and present, I was just wondering if one would be more suitable for a fan of games like Skullgirls and KOF13. (For whatever reason I couldn't get into SFIV.)

A bit of info taken from a Last Blade site I found.

''SPEED:

-Can do combo strings, example: A,A,B,>B/Special Move
-Deals really low damage compared to Power
-Has Universal Overhead (BC)
-Has the Super Speed Combo (SSC)

POWER:

-Deals the highest damage
-Special Moves can be Super Canceled
-Has the Unblockable Attack (BC), it can be delayed by holding down the buttons
-Normal Attacks can cause chip damage (But not able to kill, only special move chip damage can)
-At low health when it flashes, you can use the Super Desperation Moves (SDM) with B
-Block Stagger, meaning you can't immediately counterattack a blocked WEAPON attack from a Power mode user.''

I think since Skullgirls is really fast Paced and combo heavy, Speed would be your best option.

Much appreciated. I find Speed to be my liking because I use a lot of parrying with the swordsman in the pink kimono. (He's got a very parry-and-attack playstyle I like.)

Is one overpowered over the other when it comes to balance?
