Street Fighter 2 Bootleg - M4 (aka Final Victory)

I'm not sure if anyone else will share my nostalgia-love for this particular version of SF2. "Rainbow Edition" seems to be the most popular version of SF2 bootleg on the internet. However in Australia in the mid-90's a bootleg version of SF2 called "Final Victory" went rampant .. it would be harder to find an arcade running legit SF2 than Final Victory. It took me a while, but I eventually found out that mame refers to this version as "M4" .. as popular as it was in Australia, I'm not sure why no one can seem to remember it or why it isnt just called "Final Victory".

It was very similar to the Rainbow edition with a few niche variations such as Ryu/Ken shooting 2 hadokens that spiral around each other.

Anyway, the arcade cabinets that ran the bootleg were often beat up, and had make-shift labels attached to them to notify of the version and some of its features. I decided to do something different this time and modify my original SF2 cab skin to add some "grimy/beat-up" features to give it that grungy boot-leg feel.

Thats pretty neat. I've never actually looked at these ROM Hacks/Bootlegs before.

I will say, maybe for that extra authenticity, you could add a few cigarette burns.
