Can't locate any "NVRAM" folder for my roms saves/config files.
The steam version of the demo didn't create a "MAME" folder in my root, nor is there any other MAME folder where I can create a NVRAM folder. Has this been disabled by the devs? I need to increase the volume of some roms and without an NVRAM folder this won't work. Thanks.

I also need this, did you ever find a solution?

What rom are you trying to run?

Mortal Kombat 2 and Ultimate MK 3 MAME roms.... The audio is too low on Midway roms, you have to access the roms settings on a standalone MAME, manually increase the volume, then save your changes and take that save file and place it in the NVRAM folder than New Retro Arcade is supposed to create.

I'm having the same problem. I can't seem to run Defender.

This is all going to be fixed when the next update launches. NVRAM will now save properly and games that switch resolutions will now display properly. Tekken 3 and several other games that used Playstation based hardware, along with all SEGA ST-V and MegaTech/MegaPlay games will now render properly. If you go to the NVRAM sticky, you can a few screenshots of this in the last page of the thread.
