arcade games
hi is there any way to get actual arcade games on here like terminator salvation or aliens armageddon or even older games like the first house of the dead/time crisis?

Newer arcade titles are simply too advanced for MAME to emulate and chances are they haven't been dumped yet. Time Crisis runs decently in MAME but House of the Dead does not as it uses the SEGA Model 2 arcade hardware. Generally, anything released during or before the nineties will run just fine, with some minor exceptions depending on the game and the hardware it ran on. If you have any more questions about a particular game, feel free to ask.

I was thrown by the phrase "actual arcade games". What does OP think isn't an "actual arcade game"? Is there a statute of limitations for arcades?

i know you can get the roms for games that were made for console as well like street fighter i was curious if it was possible to get roms for arcade games that are played in real life arcades as arcade machines which haven't been ported onto consoles but by the looks of it it doesnt seem possible at the moment

Still not sure what you're saying. There's huge numbers of ROMs available for non-console arcade machines. Just look at the supported list for something like MAME. It's got thousands of titles stretching back decades.

New Retro Arcade: Neon makes use of the LibRetro API in order to power the emulation. Unfortunately, the games you are describing are far to new and are not supported in any way by the API. Most modern arcade games run on embedded Windows based system. The only way to run these games on a consumer PC is to essentially rewrite portions of the game. There are projects out there that do this, but that is beyond the scope of New Retro Arcade: Neon.

You can run games that were only released in the Arcade in New Retro Arcade: Neon. If MAME can emulate the game, then it is playable.

I think he means the games you would see in the arcades today. I'm curious as to whether or not New Retro Arcade would play Mocap Boxing. I used to love playing this in the arcade, and it would be awesome to help me get in shape, excellent title for VR too, but the original cabinet had infra red sensors and boxing gloves and what not. I found a mame rom for it but I have to review where to put it and find some art for the cabinets and an attract screen, and see if it even works.
The aracde cabinet was large and had a spot on the floor that said stand here. I don't know if these things are even available to add in the game.
