oculus quest 2 touch controls?

I've had this game for a while and i jsut got a quest 2. I can launch the game in steavVR and teleoprt around but I have no idea how to interact with any arcades. I cant seem to gran or start an arcade. Is there way to configre the touch controllers ? I'm honestly at a loss how to play this game in vr. I also tried a 360 gamepad but it doesnt recognize in vr mode.

The quest 2 should just work out of the box when launching, make sure to select Oculus VR mode when starting the game on Steam. Please note that the game is very specific about being centred in the play space. If you look down at the floor when in-game you should see an indicator showing the centre. You must be in this zone to move and interact with objects. The controls are also a bit odd where the trigger button picks up objects instead of the grip button.

I was just launching from the steamvr app inside oculus. It doesn’t give me an option on which vr mode to play. I did try launching in virtual desktop and that worked even worse

Try launching the game directly via Steam and it should give you the option. Virtual Desktop doesn't work very well as it will show the controls as Steam controllers.

Same problem here. I use a quest 2 and virtual desktop. Even if i start it in Oculus mode, i get the vive controlls in my hands. Feels so akward to move about and to interact with stuff and would also like to move around with the thumbstick and not teleporting if thats possible. Feels more immersive that way. Would also be golden if we could use a standard controller while playing the games.

Looks like it wont run properly with virtual desktop. Had the same issue with Saints and sinners but you could fix that with editing a file in the games directory and it worked after that. Dont know if there is a sollution like that for Retro arcade. If there aint then i guess i sadly have to ask for a refund. Shame.

Works perfectly even though im not a fan and had it disabled with... air link ;/
good heads up there on the air link thing ;)....might have to settle with that...seems ok with the quest 2 controllers.
no amount of faffing and fiddling can i get it going with Virtual desktop ;(
may have a word with Mr Virtual desktop guy see what he thinks.

Nice! Gonna try it with the air link later today. As long as i can move around smoothly and interact with the enviroment then im good. Might even try and rebind the buttons so i can play SNES too with the quest 2 controlls.

So you have contacted the guy who develops Virtual desktop? Now thats going the extra mile. Thanks for sharing your finds, my man.

I just hang the right Quest controller from my wrist and use an xbox one controller. It's so stupid that I need the quest controller to interact with the arcade but it is what it is. Yeah and forget using VD. Load it from Steam through Airlink.
