How do you do ANYTHING?!
Now i understand this game was originally designed for VR in mind, however the ability to play on PC means i could play with my friends who dont own VR. So i went into the game in PC mode to test it out, and i have no idea how to do anything...

How to i change options like windowed or fullscreen, resolution, fov etc? (pressing esc seems to just move me to a differnt location). I cant even work out how to quit normally?

How do i use the cinema at all, i have no clue how it works?

Many items i interact with have an icon above them with no associated keyboard binding. (e.g. video tapes, and some games) what do i press to enable the interaction?

Please help

Use the manager to add videos to VHS tapes and insert them into the VHS player in the theatre. Use the lightgun, when you press esc it will teleport you to the machine you use to change resolution and exit, etc...

You have to setup your own games unless you download someone elses setup online. Can't give any links to them though.

Hey there Chubby Pineapple. First of all, I suggest you take the time to read through the Arcade Builder guide as it contains a lot of useful information on how to setup your arcade and it will provide you links to the files you'll need.

I would also suggest reading through the FAQ as well: http://steamcommunity.com/app/465780/discussions/0/152390648081151675/

As for adjusting your graphical options, you can find a MENU cabinet in the arcade that will allow you to adjust your settings. It is the same cabinet that you should see when you first load into the arcade and when you press ESC, you actually teleport to it. You can also quit the game through this cabinet. Here is a screenshot showing where the cabinet is in the Neon arcade: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=766118385

it seems complicated. Is there anyway to use the cinema just from in game, like putting in youtube links or something? I'm to much of a causal player to get into all that stuff...

thanks for the reposnse by the way!

You can assign a Youtube URL (or local file) to each VHS tape and you can then switch between the different tapes in-game. You can, however, not enter new URLs from within the game if that's what you're asking.

This is one of the worst parts of this setup. It should let you assign in game if something isn't already assigned. The entire game is so unintuitive and the guide is not beginner friendly at all.

Yes, i wish it would just let me use the cinema as if it were a web browser, the same way Tabletop Simulator works!

Is there something specific in the guide that is giving you trouble?

with respect, i think for a lot of people buying this game (me included) was expecting an experience fully self contained. The game is great, but for the causal player setting up all the arcades and movies and stuff is a bit too much effort for what its worth.

Theres only 1 thing that i would love to see, and that would be a built in web browser in the cinema. You can still have the VHS tapes for that vintage experience, but also allow for easy browsing on youtube and stuff for a more practical experience with friends. Tabletop sim, and garry's mod Cinema do it very well.
