Marvel Vs Capcom 2

HI guys, having issues getting this game running, i was able to get the first one working but this one crashes the game.

game file name is mvsc2.zip

currently using libretro_Mame cores.

Unforuntatly to my knowledge Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 does not work even in MAME by default due to the system software it ran on called Sega Naomi which was useed for Sega Dreamcast hardware so you will have to use a Dreamcast Emulator like Demul or Null DC and sadly those don't work for New Retro Arcade Neon at the momment maybe hopefully in the future we will be able to

Twilight is correct. MAME just doesn't emulate the SEGA Naomi board. That being said, Marvel vs Capcom 1 emulates perfectly fine.

That's not correct, mame does emulate naomi, but it's rather slow, resulting in terrible audio stutter, and the graphics isn't perfect. I haven't tried MVSC2, but I had no problems running Dead or Alive 2, except for the speed. Never got it to work with the libretro core in NRA:N though, but that might simply have been that that version expects other roms.
