Any way to turn the sound up for games?
Seems like the radio, attract music, and SFX are all fine, but the in-game sound (for ROM's) is really really low.

Depending on the game, there are a number of solutions.

One is to turn the game volume up in the Arcade Builder. Another is to press F2 when running a particular MAME ROM and turn the volume up in the internal options menu. Games like Mortal Kombat 3 would be an example.

The last method I can think of is to press TAB while running a MAME ROM and scroll down to sliders. From here you can adjust the volume of the individual sound chips on the arcade board.

If you posted the games in question, I might be able to provide some specific info for them.

I'm currently trying to change the volume for the MAME Golden Axe ROM. The sound slider in the Arcade Builder is all the way up. Pressing F2 causes UE4 to crash, somehow.

Could you share the filename of your Golden Axe ROM?

mt_gaxe.zip and the parent ROM is megatech.zip
The files inside are just random numbers and letters.

Oddly enough, the game didn't crash for me when I pressed F2. The game might appear to freeze, but if you press TAB and make it so both monitors are visible, you can see the setup menu in-game.

That's strange. I downloaded some pre-set ROM's and it seems to work fine now.
I do have one other question, however! Iiiii'm having trouble setting up controls for games that have a character select. For example we'll use TMNT.

The character I want (Raphael) is Player 4. I pressed TAB to open up the menu, set my controller buttons to Player 4, but they usually don't unbind from player 1. Is there a way to clear certain input bindings? Sorry if this doesnt make any sense lol

With games that have more than 2 players, I suggest you try and obtain the ROMS that were made only for 2 players at a time. Both the original game and Turtles in Time have 2 player variants. Give those ROMs a shot instead.
