Little John mission (spared lives problem)
Currently I play on Hard and want to complete this game with a 100% Spared Lives, and everything was fine till the last mission, where i need to save Little John and help some villagers. I'm playing carefully, knocking out everybody (with Robin's fist/club/stick) except the knight - he just didn't notice me - and successfully run off in Sherwood with merry man band. But when the scores appeared, i have only 53 spared lives (of 60 total), and it's inevitably breaks my 100%. Is it a bug of something? Is there someone who met the same problem?

Unfortunately you can't finish game with 100% spared lives, when you start conquer castles you need to kill all soldiers inside, so 100% impossible :(

That frustrated me a lot when i met knight rider, that can't be tied up at all :(. What to do with this?

When he is standing on the field, you can just release John without bothering him. Slowly and accurately pulling out the guards, you have to neutralized them, and then dealing with the templar (when he'll appear after you trying to release John for the first time).

If you met the knight rider on the other map you can just knock him off with a flail of Will Scarlet (most effective way, imo) - he will be unconscious for a few moments. Just grab the money/steal the ammo/get the food - and get out of there :)

I hope my answer helped you with something

I'm sorry if my english sucks - I'm still learning :)

Yeap, i was talking about other maps, thanks for the advice :).
I'm also heading for a 100% spared lives if that would be possible.

p.s.: your english is pretty good, i think :). it's not my native language either, it's russian =).

As far as i remember, my final result is 94-95%. The massacre in the castles is the most challenging part of the game (in the meaning of survival of the enemies), but I'm think it can be completed flawlessly - even on Hard :) Speed is the key thing.

p.s. Ну а раз уж мне посчастливилось оказаться обладателем русского языка в качестве своего родного - можно изъясняться и на великом и могучем :) Зачастую сложно понять, с кем имеешь честь общаться, поэтому английский выступает в роли универсального инструмента :)

I know this is a five years old thread, so I'm writing just for the record: players get 53 spared lives out of the total of 60 because when you start the mission, there already are 7 dead soldiers on the level, and the game counts them as killed by the player. You can find their bodies in the upper left (1 body) and lower right (1 body) corners of the map, and around Little John (5 bodies). I observed this in the non-Steam version of the game, but I'm fairly certain it's the same as the one on Steam.

Thank you for the confirmation. This bug was annoying as hell :)
Wow, I was having the same problem. Exactly stuck at 53 out of 60 every time, didn't know the game counts the already dead soldiers on the map at the beginning. Spellbound really dropped the ball on this one, giving players some kind of false hope the game can be completed with no lives taken like MGS.

I've actually gotten 100% before, but it was a pain in the butt. Yes you get those 7 kills automatically from the Little John rescue mission, but if you get 99% to a high enough decimal (playing a lot of side missions) it rounds up! The catch - all the army missions you need to literally go around throwing nets on everyone and knocking them out to save them, hiding enemy troops from your own men. There's no real reward for getting 100% either, so up to you if it's worth it.
