Don't start directly from the archive. First extract (Win 11: right-click -> Extract all) the zip archive and then start the launcher in extracted folder.

Hello - I have extracted the files and set up the configurator (I think). However, when I try to launch it will only play the introduction movie. When it would bring up the start screen, it just crashes (no errors are reported). This seems to be the case no matter which set of configuration options I try.

Okay - setting "borderless" seems to have solved this problem.

You could try macOS with bottles/VM. Keep in mind: MacOS is officially not supported.

Today Steam delivered a 1,5MB Update. Unfortunately it broke the game. Can you fix?

The update has added dgvoodoo wrapper and I will update my R2P launcher during the days to handle the situation properly.

Ready2Play Launcher (Update v20250408)
- Updated: DirectDraw (cnc-ddraw) wrapper
- Launcher ensures the intended wrapper won't be overwritten with the dgvoodoo wrapper of the new game update
