Station Ship Seller Question:

is it random what ships sell at what stations or does it refresh or change the list each time you load a game or are certain ships only sold at certain stations?

If my memory serves {not bought one in a bit} you can bounce the vendor. Seems only Achmedius has some restrictions. For example, never saw a Behemoth sold there nor will the equipment vendors sell ship equipment that bypasses Phestus.

yeah I only just got to the first station, wanted to look at ship prices etc. also trying to figure out where the DLC ship I bought is at. was curious if the behemoth would be there or if it was somewhere else.

The DLC ship is at Achmedius trade station. The place where you say goodbye to the two doctors.

To swap ships, dock there, open the ship panel (default "K" on PC) and look for a button in the center of the screen; near where you can open your refinery.
At that point, you can select the ship you want to swap for the one you currently use.

still curious anyone know what system or where to find the behemoth's at I want to make sure I put beacon in that system for future reference?

Locations are random as the map is generated by the seed you enter before even playing.

So while a behemoth may be available in System "X" for me, it may be in system "K" for you.

I'm afraid you will have to find it yourself.

sorry yeah I figured that out sadly via save scumming while traveling and also figured out it has to be trade stations. Guess I should have updated my previous post. went on a 12 hours + random window shopping map exploration spree yesterday fell asleep like 6 am my time put like 18-20 hours in yesterday alone lol

Every time a station loads, the vendors are restocked. Don't even have to save scum as such, just pick a station, dock, check vendors, undock and dock again. It's boring, but I did do so to buy my heavy fighter in the station where I keep my ships (I really hope we can hire a pilot to fly them to a new base some day).
