Just let one of your guy go ahead, lure the monsters, let the other guys shoot them in a distance.
(and it's OK if they get close in normal difficulty, we have flamer, good melee skills.)
But you don't need it so badly, Cuz Azimuth is not that hard to recharge, so ether shards/stones are only needed in a few cases For Now.
And just put them in your stash of your inventory, 200 slots is enough
(and the lifesignal tracker is useful. OK without it tho.)
Press "R" to move into hyperflight and fly asap to that station.
Dock there and drop the stone in the storage. That should keep it save.
If you're not in Achmedius:
Press "R" to get into hyperspeed and fly to the nearest hyperjump point. Or - if your system has a beacon - until you're save enough. At that point, jump to hyperspace, travel to Achmedius and fly to the trade station, where you can store the shard for later use.
Note:
There are some changes coming up in the future which may make this a bit more complicated.
So don't get too used to it as I have no idea if it's still possible in the future.
Thorin :)
Problem solved.
